How do I add a device to the app and get started?
In order to start operating the device, you need to download the application "LOOKin Hub" for the Android or iOS platform. A QR code for quick search of the application can be found in each package.
There are two ways to connect the device:
1) Quick connection: Click on the + in the upper right corner of the application on the "Devices" page, set the credentials of your Wi-Fi network and bring the phone as close as possible to the new device
2) If for some reason the fast connection fails, there is an alternative way: when starting the device starts Wi-Fi access point with SSID like "LOOKin
On the page that opens, enter the data of your Wi-Fi network and click on "connect" button
Do I need to have a Wi-Fi router at home?
Not necessary.
The presence of a Wi-Fi router makes it possible to fully use scenarios and control your smart home via the Internet, but even without it, the devices can work. Each of the devices of the LOOKin system, powered by a constant power supply, can act as a router and distribute the network to the rest. Switching occurs automatically without user intervention.
How can I connect a device to work with third-party smart home controllers?
Most devices of the LOOKin system can work as part of other Smart Home systems.
Access to devices is possible via the HTTP protocol, provided that the server of your existing Smart Home system and the LOOKin device are connected to one Wi-Fi network.
For example, for Plug:
GET [IP address] /commands/switch/on - enable the device
GET [IP address] /commands/switch/off - disable the device
GET [IP address] /sensors/switch - current state of the device

Why does the device use Bluetooth??
Bluetooth, or to be more precise, Bluetooth Low Energy is used to quickly set up the device and enter your Wi-Fi network data by bringing the phone up.
Bluetooth is also used to save remote control keys in the device.
In future software versions (mid 2021) BLE Mesh will also appear between devices, which will increase the range of the network and increase its stability.
Remote control won't turn on, what should I do?
Please make sure that when you turn on the remote control, your smartphone and the device are as close to each other as possible. Proximity is required for successful activation of this feature.
I linked my LOOKin account and voice assistant (Yandex, Google, etc), but none of the IR remotes appeared. What to do?
Please make sure the remote control type is specified in the corresponding remote control settings in the LOOKin Hub application. Without specifying the type of remote control (TV, speaker, lighting, humidifier), this remote control will not be displayed and work with the any voice assistant.
Does Remote support Bluetooth remotes?
At the moment, Remote can control most devices that implement BLE keyboards or remotes via Bluetooth.
These are, for example, such TVs and / or TV boxes as Xiaomi, Phillips and many others that work on Android.
